Since my announcement of my intention to run for State Representative in January, I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting thousands of everyday citizens like you and me. People that just want to live the dream that was made possible by our founding founders.

As we all know it seems that the ability to live the American dream is becoming more and more difficult as our Federal and state governments and our elected representatives continue to ignore the people they are sent to office to serve.

As government continues to grow, implement new poorly designed programs and continue to accrue unimaginable debt, many understand that our country is in immediate danger.

The Role of the State and Federal Government

Through truly inspired means, our founders established a system of checks and balances which left the majority of the power in this country at the state level.

The 10th Amendment of the Constitution gives all but twenty specific powers, and possibly ten additional interspersed throughout, to the individual states.

Our Role

It is clear today’s state representatives are not acting responsibly in their duty to serve those who elected them.

I ask you to help me get elected.  My promise to you is that I will truly represent the people while emboldening the other forty-nine states of our Union to join us in a revitalization of the American dream through the reigning in of a Federal Government that has severely overstepped its Constitutional Authority.

Clean Elections v. Traditional Campaign Funding

In Arizona we have a "Clean Elections" program that allows candidates to use public funds to pay for their campaign.

As I started this process, I was given the advice that as a first time candidate, it was the only way I could win.

However, as I have progressed, I cannot ignore the fact that Clean Elections is fundamentally in direct conflict with all that I believe and quite simply not the role of the government.

Therefore, I am excited to announce that I am officially running as a "traditional" candidate.

Running as a traditional candidate is the more difficult way, especially since most of my competitors are running on taxpayers' money.  However I believe it is the right thing to do.

With this in mind I ask for your support in my run for the Arizona State House. Individuals may contribute up to $408 per person and $816 per household.

Your help and support will allow me to truly serve the people of Arizona in these incredibly difficult times.
