We have to become more active in our own communities taking care of each other, so that people do not feel that their only option in times of personal distress is the government.  I am already talking with various organizations to pool and focus their resources to do things within LD 22 such as set up multiple food stores that will provide the same services as food stamps, under similar requirements.  Over time, private programs like this will begin to eliminate the need of the government to provide what are real, necessary services, but services that the government is neither properly equipped nor constitutionally permitted to perform.
