We must address the “Voter Protection” act. We have a representative republic and not a direct democracy for a reason. It is up to the duly elected representatives to review revenue and set a budget to match. It is simply a practical issue that 6 million Arizonans cannot possibly comprehend the intricacies of a multi- billion dollar budget, that is the job of the legislature and if they are not doing said job effectively, the people have the right to elect someone else.
